What a beautiful and serene spot! It feels a little more secluded, which is perfect if you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful stay.
The interiors are very tastefully remodeled and impeccably clean. Lots of thoughtful touches made for a comfortable stay. We slept so well here.
We were also able to utilize the kitchen for simple cooking. We also used the laundry to do a mid-trip wash, much needed. Highly recommend staying here!

The house was very clean and comfortable. there was a large kitchen, two bathrooms(only one shower), a living room/sitting room, a balcony, and the triple room we stayed in was very cozy and clean. The main bathroom was spacious and clean with plenty of room to set clothes and toiletries down. the owner was welcoming and friendly

Clean, big room, good value. The guest rooms were surrounding the kitchen/dining area and bathroom. There is a campground adjacent to the guesthouse, and campers had a bathroom with an entrance right next to the entrance of the guesthouse. The owner facilitated a late-ish checkin (about 8 pm)

We enjoyed this farm house! It was a homely lodging with a cute sitting room and heirloom art, cross-stitching, and furniture throughout. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots, and utensils for cooking. The beds (all singles or twins) were very comfortable, and the farm was very scenic. Overall it was a cozy change from the more modern and minimalist guesthouses that we stayed at for the majority of our trip.

The location was gorgeous as it was right on the water. Too bad it was so cloudy we couldn't see any northern lights! The beds were very comfortable and warm. We were in a triple so space was a bit tight. Try to get a room facing the water so you can also see the whales swim up!
A bonus was meeting the adorable pup that showed up the next morning!!

Andrea is a lovely host who gave us some very useful information and made us some lovely bread upon our arrival. The accommodation had a really nice communal lounge area in which to sit and relax during the evening. Compared to other Icelandic properties it was reasonable value for money.
The room was well-designed and comfortable. The decor was old-style and provided us with a perfect Icelandic homestay. One of the unique aspects is the personalized atmosphere it provides. Since it's a homestay, it was very calm, and felt like we were at our own home. The next time I visit Iceland, I will definitely stay at this place again.
