I heartily recommend Parag Homestay. I enjoyed a memorable visit where I received all the hospitality and advice I needed to explore Sivasagar, in very good comfort. It’s just a few months old and run by a retired teacher and his wife (still teaching). I felt, for the short visit, a valued member of the household. Worth also saying, my room was enormous! And very clean and comfortable.

The homestay is really well located, walking distance from the main monuments in south sibsagar, and very easily accessible from the city center with tempo for a very cheap price. Room is very big, well furnished with huge bathroom. But more than everything, Jessie is the best host ever ! Even if she was very busy managing all the check in, she took the time to show me around, she gave me the best advices for food, told me about the region... She was the highlight of my sibsagar trip :) thank you so much !

We are a French couple (69 and 66 years old) visiting Assam . I stayed last year in this wonderful place.
Jetuka Villa is a perfect home stay, close to the Shiv Dol, in a very quiet street. You’ll enjoy a peaceful terrace and garden . The rooms ( with modern attached bathrooms) are very clean and comfortable with high amenities. The decoration is so stylish with folks artifacts.The kitchen is well equipped. But the best was the hospitality of the caretaker , Mr. KHEMRAJ. In the absence of the owners, he welcomed us with kindness and great professionalism. He gave us useful advice and was very careful to us and aware of us.
I would highly recommend Jetuka Villa to other guests !!

Excellent homestay. A cute spotlessly clean set of rooms and kitchen. It has its own verandah with a picket fence.
