Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Its a home stay and very close to Prashanti Nilayam Mandir. Hardly 3 minutes walk. It had all basic requirements , clean bed and mattress , A/C working efficiently, Clean washroom with hot water, Gas and kitchen requisites if one wishes to use.
The Hosts were very warm and polite people. We had a very short stay but no complaints, it was all good and comfortable.
Great place to be in regards to ashram but the locals are a bit too troublesome
