The location is perfect for a nice fun filled vacation with family and friends. It is just about 30km from Ooty, The best thing we liked is we were just minutes away from the safari rides, so many places to visit. The home cooked food is awesome. The host is a great cook and was always happy to serve different varieties. We visited first week of May but the weather was pleasant and rained everyday for about 15-20 minutes between 3-4pm, which made the evenings much cooler. I am looking forward to my trip back here again. You will definitely enjoy your stay here!!!

Home away from home in a jungle 😊… just love the location and the hospitality.. it was a very nice home stay .. home cooked food and rooms are clean n neat … the owner Immanuel was really good.. kept checking if we are on the correct path n suggested us on the safari… I would suggest you take some outdoor/indoor games with you … as you don’t have network u can enjoy playing there … best place to connect with your closed ones …

The rooms are really well maintained and the staff on the property are courteous, empathetic and generally great people. Everyone paid attention to our comfort, asked us about meals on time and informed us about road closures and general tips to get around. The food on the property is really tasty and deserves to be called out. Raju and Rajesh are really good hosts and Vijay helped us with the administration, so a shout out to all three of them. We were a group of 6 with three rooms and all our needs were met with great care!
The building exterior architecturally impressive, in a nice location close to the national park. The staff were able to arrange an early morning jeep safari, run by a near by business, Wild Ways Home Stay. On my second day Avadale Masinagudi was fully booked, so I went down the road and stayed at Wild Ways Home Stay instead, which I preferred.
A very raw and refreshing experience compared to staying in other resorts and hotels. The service is good and it feels like home staying there. The food is mostly good although they primarily serve south Indian cuisine. They don't have a restaurant to eat in so you have to order in your room but they have a wonderful balcony outside most rooms where you can enjoy the view and eat. The drive to the resort is also very pleasant.
Our stay experience at Avadale Masinagudi was very good. The view behind the homestay is too beautiful and this stay with the nature was wonderful. Rooms were clean and tidy. Water facilities were good. Mainly food here was amazing and we loved it.
