The location is more than one could ask for. The attached swimming pool overlooking the river is the highlight .
Moreover the staff made sure to attend to every small need of ours and made us feel like home. We had all our meals at the homestay . The food was exceptionally good.

We are very thankful that we found this really great place to stay in Mangaluru. It is a quiet and very clean accommodation on a small island. For 15 Rupees you can reach it with a ferry that goes every 5 minutes. We booked the double room with queensize bed and seaview. We enjoyed the very nice view from our terrace to the riverside. The hosts are super friendly and prepared us good breakfast and a very delicious lunch. The AC is brand new and very quiet and not too windy over the bed. We were very happy about that! We can fully recommend this nice homestay! Every time we will come back to Mangaluru we will stay here!

Nelson also suggested experiencing the nearby backwaters, just 200 meters away. It was a unique adventure! I thoroughly enjoyed the boat rides and kayaking.
The accommodations were comfortable, and the beach was conveniently located just 400-600 meters from my room. This allowed us to enjoy the beach and easily return to freshen up.

The Host would almost go over and beyond their capabilities to make you feel comfortable and at home! It’s taken care by a 19year old along with his dad and THE SWEETEST DOGGO - His Name is Coby (and he had my heart) .. The rooms are clean aesthetic equipped with modern amenities but has the charm of a vintage oldschool sussex cottage. The wood finish and the minimalistic approach to the decor of the room makes it aesthetic for lovely pictures and what you’re going enjoy best is the silence the property embodies surrounded by the sweet chirps of birds and the fresh air! An absolute MUST STAY Needless to say. We were only here to spend our layover from the airport (which is about 20 mins) from the beautiful Homestay and i cannot stress enough when I say this! It was such a nice place. Extremely calm atmosphere, The homestay is conveniently located only a few kilometers from the city center. The house is neat and clean and you can feel the HOME. Large families can easily fit in the house. Also, the host Deepa is polite and helpful.

The homestay itself is in a beautiful spot on the water with a nice plunge pool outside each room. It was quiet and peaceful with only the sound of birds and the occasional fisherman floating by.
