I loved the stay at 11 Gaon Homestay. The family who hosts the Homestay is extremely kind and positive. They are such good and fun people to be around. They were also so communicative and helpful. They even took our special request for Bhang ki Chutney with such enthusiasm (which is a dish from Pahadi people and unlike the bhang leaves there are no psychoactive properties of dry bhang seeds from which the chutney is made).
And how can I miss Ronnie. He was one of the best things about the place.

Mr Ankit Rawat was a great host and went out of his way to make sure I was completely comfortable, even though my requirements were different from the normal tourist as I am travelling on a bicycle. He accommodated all my requirements making me feel quite at home. I had booked for just 3 days but felt so comfortable that I decided to stay on, and eventually ended up staying for 13 days! Besides, being well educated, it was also a pleasure to chat with him from time to time. My room was very comfortable and overall I enjoyed my stay thoroughly, and was sorry to have to leave.

Bhatt Sir and Ashish's behaviour was super awesome, it actually was homestay.
Food was excellent and homely, ghee dripping kode ki roti was show stopper. Sunset view from the property is very good. You can see sunrise from the roof of the property.

The location of the villa is quite serene and the view from the balcony is picturesque. The villa is quite spacious and home decor is simply class. A special mention to Care taker Mr. Akhil who made our trip quite comfortable throughout the duration of stay.
The cook also prepares some really delicious local cuisines which you can relish.
A must recommended Home stay with friends/family for a pleasant gateway if that is what you're looking for.

Was my home away from my home. Never had any host like Kisan uncle n Asha aunty. They treated me like their daughter. Stayed in so many homestays in various parts of India. But this homestay was exceptional. Will go back again because I carried a great relationship for life time

The food menu was very limited but very tasty. The speciality was the excellent Garwali thali as a special. The Colonel & his wife were great hosts - warm & accommodating.
