Padma, the host was excellent. She manages everything herself. Even coked as per our request. She made some excellent local dish Chutaki, for us.
Her daughter, Karma was very friendly.

Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Our stay at Hunder Camp and Stay met our expectations. It was a quiet and clean homestay surrounded by beautiful nature and an exquisite garden, not too far from the Hunder sand dunes. The breakfast and dinner buffet were delicious with an affordable price.
A homestay in the truest sense. What struck me the most were the spotless, fresh like spring bedding and towels which was better than even the so called '2 star/3star' hotels. And the host was most welcoming. Food was freshly made and just like home food.
It seemed like almost everything was amazing. The staff were quite pleasant and helpful. I would recommend this homestay to others. Exceptionally well-trained and knowledgeable personnel. We like the food a lot.
