The location is supreme, it is behind the Mrityunjay Mandir and very close to the Badrinath group of temples, which makes the place divine. The rooms are cozy and have access to direct sunlight throughout the day which is absolutely THE thing required, specially during chilly winter days. Snugged between the temples yet situates at a walking distance from the market place makes the place well located. Most importantly the hospitality bestowed by Tushar creates a human bond of high value and its combination with the above mentioned points makes the property a prime property and absolutely comfortable for solo travellers like myself. The place is adorned with creativity scattered everywhere adding to the uniqueness of the place.

I stumbled upon Shree Home Stay in Dwarahat, and it turned out to be a fantastic discovery! The home stay is tucked away in a quiet corner of the town, offering a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The room was cozy and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, always ready to help with any needs or queries. The homemade food at Shree Home Stay was simply amazing! Every meal was a treat, and I loved the fact that it was all made with fresh ingredients and love. If you're looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay in Dwarahat, I highly recommend Shree Home Stay. It's a hidden gem that will make your stay in this beautiful town truly unforgettable!

Name one homestay in India that provides its guests with toiletries, fresh towels, slippers, tea-coffee-power milk sachets, an electric cattle, a mini fridge (yes, you heard it right), an iron and an ironing board, a big cupboard with plenty of hangers and extra blankets and pillows? The short answer in Nandini Cottages. The Himalayan view from the rooms and the balcony is breathtaking. The size of the room is much bigger than most flats in our cities. The hospitality of the staff is soooo homely. The complimentary breakfast is great with lots of options. They also cook a handful of dishes for lunch and dinner and the prices are reasonable. The caretakers -- Rajendar and Pramood -- are very efficient and helpful. They always have smiles in their faces, no matter what. On reaching the property, they will receive you at the entrance downstairs and carry all your luggage to your room before helping you with your parking (the property has ample private parking space). On entering the property what one immediately notice is the kind of detailing that has gone into making the homestay on a par with any luxury hotel. Every inch is made with care. Be it the small library, or the photographs/ paintings hung on the walls, the garden/open seating area, the children's play area, the exterior or the interior lighting, the viewpoint, the hiking trail at the backyard, etc. Overall, Nandini Cottages surpassed my expectation. It's the best homestay I've every stayed at.

The caretaker, Mamtaji, is an exceptional host. She made great food and arranged a fire at the property. It has lot of open space for sports etc.
