Eagle's Nest Homestay is hands down the best place to stay in Darjeeling! Having visited Darjeeling seven times and experienced various accommodations, I can confidently say that this homestay stands out in every aspect.
The hosts are incredibly welcoming and friendly, creating a warm and homely atmosphere. From the beautifully decorated rooms to the spotlessly clean bathrooms, everything was thoughtfully arranged to ensure a comfortable stay. The mesmerizing mountain views from the room and balcony added a magical touch to our experience.
One of the highlights was the bonfire they organized for us at night. Sitting around the fire in temperatures below 5°C was simply perfect and made for unforgettable memories. The homemade breakfast served in the cozy drawing room was delicious, and chatting with the hosts during the meal was a delight.
Additionally, the location is convenient—just a 15-minute walk from Darjeeling Mall—yet it feels peaceful and serene, away from the bustle.
Overall, my experience was exceptional, and I already know where I’ll be staying during my next visit to Darjeeling. I highly recommend Eagle's Nest Homestay to all types of travelers. You won’t regret it!

The view was amazing as Sunrise and Sunsets can be enjoyed. The Facilities were awesome. The the behaviour is very much friendly as like as family member. The food quality is very good and tasty. But only Breakfast and Lunch available. As they are friendly the luch and breakfast can be exchanged with dinner or other meal.
In a word exceptional like Darjeeling Hotels which could cost 8K/night but Mukhiya's Home Stay offers per rooms 1.8K to above.

Pathi bunkers is a perfect homestay for staying at Darjeeling it is too near from centre of Darjeeling. The natural view in front of this home stay is very nice. The host Priya yadav is a very nice person and well behaved, she cooked delious food and she served specially dinner like family member overall this home stay is perfect for staying, I recommend for this.

In very rare occasions I recommend hotels and home stays to friends and family after going back home. But I am gonna highly recommend this one. I guess that says how much I liked the property. Unlike most places where shady hotel rooms have been converted into homestays this place is an actual one staying with an ever smiling and helpful family.
We enjoyed a peaceful stay at the Valley View Homestay overlooking the tea gardens and felt very much welcomed by the host family. When you visit, don't miss out on the lovely homemade food!
Loved the place, it felt like home. The view was amazing and the warm gesture of the host family was over the top. My family was really happy to stay at norbus homestay. The rooms were really comfortable. The view from my window was mesmerizing. It felt like home away from home. Whenever I come to darjeeling, will stay in this place only. 🥰
We realty enjoyed our stay at the Riva Homestay.Location was excellent as we could just cross the road and get share taxi till the main market / taxi stand at a reasonable price.Kids and adults will enjoy the awesome Zoo as it's just walking distance from our home stay.which should not be missed out.

The host family are extremely friendly and helpful, they make you feel at home and the contact with them is very natural. The bed was very comfortable and more than what I needed to take appropriate rest. I felt very much at home in Anugrah Homestay and I would very much like to return one day.
The location was beautiful, away from the hustle and bustle of main town. Locals were very helpful and polite. Rooms of the homestay was also good. Host was very hospitable too.
