The home is beautifully located at the mouth of the Kadalundi river. Praveen & Meera have a lovely covered deck over the river where we spent most of our time. It’s peaceful & enjoyable to watch pond herons, egrets & ibis searching for food.
Meera’s cooking as certified by other reviewers is excellent. Everyday for breakfast & dinner we had different items. Dosa, sambar, eggs, French toasts, puttu & kadla curry, Idiappam & kurma. Dinner likewise was a variety of excellent Keralite food - nathuli fry and fish curry, Appam & chicken stew, pepper chicken with chapatis and pathiri (rice rotis). Each meal was accompanied by fruit. I was so happy to get jackfruit in this season. The food was so well made with so much love. Thank you Meera.
Praveen was always responsive n very helpful, organising auto/taxi for us. Making calls on our behalf because of language issues! Pulling out a huge spider from the room.
It was monsoon season. We had gone armed with mosquito spray, odomos cream. Praveen had ayurvedic agarbati’s & electric Good Night mosquito repellent so the room was totally mosquito free.

The stay really exceeded my expectations. I had come here with a few friends of mine to attend a wedding. The property is right in the heart of the city. Hence everything was easily available. Mr.Sujeesh and his staff showed commendable hospitality towards me and my guests. I will recommend this stay to all the those who are looking for a budget friendly stay that offers luxury at the same time.
Right from the beginning of the call with Mr.Sujeesh, He explained everything to me with clarity and conciseness. It was very comfortable and yes we had a memorable stay.

The location is nice, in a quieter area but very close to everything you need.
Both owners are very friendly and cooked an amazing breakfast every day (all freshly made local food).
The room was spacious and there is a small common area which is very handy.

One of the best homestays we have visited, its near to national highway in pooladikunnu, a clean hygenic and safe place for tourist and people visiting.
Calm and soothening ambience was appreciable. Wifi and geyser was also available.. Hoping to visit again soon

A amazing place to stay in heart of Calicut, close to Calicut beach. Its silent, serene and beautiful. Amenities are great which includes, gas stove, some utensils, crockery, fridge, washing machine, etc. Lovely hosts who make genuine interest im your comfort.
