Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Lovely hosts made to feel welcome from start to finish. As a motorcyclist my bike is my pride and joy and the hosts let me park it overnight. Inside the property down one end of a corridor.PRICELESS. Breakfast first class and even got some cheeky fried bread.
Homely , Ruth & Liam were great hosts.
Great that the Forge bar was beside , so handy that you could eat & drink there without the need to travel into Tipperary town.
Great tasty breakfast.
Great shower ... water pressure brilliant .
Comfortable bed , clean bedroom , nothing fancy.
The hosts are very homely. Clean accommodation, comfortable beds and quality food. They were a bit out of the way for us, but there are many activities nearby and not far from the coast (Wicklow or Arkow) in half an hour.
All around, peace, a farm and pleasant locals.
