We booked this room on the spur of the moment after realising we couldn't stay another night where we were booked. The owner was amazingly welcoming on arrival giving us a map of local amenities and talking us through the local area.

Confession to begin…I prefer smaller accommodations…less wait times and admin to deal with.
First thing which drives you to consider / select an accommodation or not is location - box ticked, It’s perfect.
So why does this accommodation make me a repeat customer ? The room…Describing the room leads me to an almost strange contradiction - it conveys this feeling of opulence but yet minimalism. Well it just works…and works really, really well. I get some people will prefer having lots of amenities in larger properties, but i like to think these owners have actually realised what the core business is and focused on delivering on that. Sounds obvious right - but it’s that feeling of being in a place which lets you feel comfortable, at ease and a little pampered. This is where they truly excel…it’s getting right that thing we lay on, settle into under the covers, with hopefully some nice reflections of the day gone and optimism for the next one ahead - the bed.
Whilst here, you won’t queue for breakfast, wait for a slot to use the spa, or wait in line for check in or out. You will however, spend approximately 8 hours of your time in perfect horizontal bliss and this is what all accommodations should strive for.
At the King Sitric in Howth we offer seaside accommodation and specialise in seafood dining. There is free WiFi access available and free on street public parking nearby.

Beautiful room, very comfortable, clean and superb view. Excellent breakfast and we had a meal which was fantastic. The chef made an amendment to the fish just for us. First class

The hosts were wonderful and so helpful and caring. Breakfast was great, the room just what we needed! I would definitely stay there again.
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Jillian and Pascal are lovely hosts, really friendly and generous. We really enjoyed staying with them and were completely looked after. The room we stayed in was extremely clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen area is modern and looks newly redone, and again extremely clean. We were provided with fresh eggs from their chickens they have on the property. The dining area for the guests felt like a cafe/ restaurant and was pleasant to eat in and chat with other guests. Overall, the experience was brilliant, and we would definitely return.
A very enjoyable stay. Dan was a great host and was very accommodating. Location was very close to the airport which suited our needs. Room was very clean and the breakfast provided was extensive and lovely.
Lovely hosts . Jimmy and Mary made us feel very welcome . Beds were so comfortable and room was really big which was great for the four of us. Great communication from hosts and first class breakfast . Would love to stay again . 🥰
Beautiful room, beautiful house, beautiful area, great hosts, 10 out of 10... I especially liked how cognizant they are of their clientele...the breakfast is ready made and in the room, as many people have very early flights...they are ready for that
Gillian and Paschal's guest house was a dream. The rooms are lovingly decorated and have a terrace.
The location is also excellent. The guest house is located a little outside of Dublin, but you can easily reach everything by car.
Gillian and Paschal are incredibly great hosts and do everything to make you feel at home. The stay was a real highlight for my parents.
We had a great stay at Evergreen. Mary and Jimmy are lovely hosts. Great location, lovely breakfast, comfy beds and nice shower.
I would definitely recommend the Evergreen to anyone!
The place is fully equipped with anything you need during your stay.
The lovely host family was pretty helpful, we did not rent a car and they helped to reach to Swords anytime we needed. They even provided all their guests fresh eggs from their chickens for breakfast, many delicious muesli, joghurt, coffee and tea as well! The place is super cozy, beautiful, silent and clean. We were lucky to choose them for our stay (it was around the St Patrick's day!)
