On arrival the receptionist gave us full attention explained everything ,Gave us a quieter family room than we expected . This family owned business is unique ,with the owners at hand asking you if everything is to your satisfaction ,Great staff , great food , great atmosphere in general with the locals every so friendly . Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Back after two years and still as nice before - was like coming home. The appartement has its tiny tiny bugs but they makecreste this special character.

Right in the heart of Portmagee, locals are lovely, so welcoming and friendly. Surrounding scenery, stunning! Moorings for dinner is a must, ate there on numerous occasions. Devane house was great value for money, we would stay there again. Really good wifi and smart TV with all the streaming services available.
Lovely spacious room with the most amazing view across the water. It was lovely to sit outside in the evening and eat a picnic using the picnic table. Pete and Maureen were great hosts. Pete offered excellent suggestions for what to visit and when including a map which was incredibly helpful. The cooked breakfast was absolutely delicious.
Got to pet all the animals! Beautiful little space with an amazing view. Very short walk to the Kerry Cliffs and we were given free passes to go. Reserved parking spot ensured we always had an easy place to park. The set up is very similar to a mother-in-law suite. Would stay here again.
Atlantic Sunset is a very nice and comfortable accomodation. The McCarthys are great hosts with always open ears for their guests. The location is stunning and beautiful!
