Peter and his team couldn’t be more accommodating if they tired! A lovely hotel run by lovely people! Great location over looking the harbour, we managed to get lucky room No7 which was huge and surrounded by double glazed sash windows which really kept the noise out!! Breakfast is a must too, go for the full Irish you won’t be disappointed!!

West Beach House -Sea Views, hotel in Kinsale

Offering inner courtyard views, West Beach House -Sea Views is an accommodation located in Cobh, 500 metres from Cathedral of St. Colman and 5.8 km from Fota Wildlife Park.

This property is in a great location by the sea front in Cobh. We stayed in the studio out the back, and it was very quiet. It was self-contained with a microwave, tea and coffee facilities, crockery etc if you wanted to eat there. It has the feel of an Airbnb in terms of its set up. The breakfast (freshly baked croissants) was left out for us to collect in the morning. We met Michael who was very friendly and their lovely dogs!

Phil is a lovely host. My room was spotless and the breakfast was lovely. There was unlimited top ups if you wanted more of anything I was getting there and leaving at odd times so Phil kept my luggage to help me out. Only points to be prepared for is the B&B only take cash, and if you don’t have a car it’s a very steep incline to the property. Would definitely recommend
