We had the best stay at Butler House, from the location, to the ambiance and the staff. The rooms are beautifully decorated, ours had a lovely view of the gardens. The breakfast was delicious. And the location can’t be matched, just walk through the gardens and you reach the castle. Would love to stay for longer next time.

Very comfortable room, clean, updated, and super location. Our room had a partial castle view and overlooked the river. The only issue with such a central location is the busy street that comes with some noise. We closed the windows and one of us also used ear plugs and the issue was solved. Enjoy Kilkenny!

Glendine Inn felt like a real authentic Kilkenny stay. From the locals in the pub, to the Hurling championship memorabilia, to the staff and service - everything was excellent! Public transport is available however I chose to walk everywhere as it’s a small city with plenty of beauty to see. Highly recommend this accomodation and Kilkenny!
