Dun Ri Guesthouse, hotel in Clifden

In a quiet corner of Clifden, this quiet haven of rich comfort and classic Irish hospitality is just 93 steps from the vibrant buzz of the center of Clifden.

Beautiful rooms and the best breakfast we had out of all of our B&Bs across the coast. We reserved a room last minute after staying at a cheaper accommodation in town and extremely happy we made the switch to Dun Ri.

Furthest Point West, hotel in Galway

Furthest Point West in Galway provides accommodations with a private beach area and a garden.

Laura and Tommy were amazing hosts and truly added so much to our Ireland experience! Their property is in one of the most beautiful (and remote) parts of Connemara and as others have reviewed, the photos from the listing don't begin to explain how gorgeous the area is. The room we stayed in (1st on the left) had one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. We were able to hang out by the woodstove at night with Laura and Tommy (and their two cute AF doggies) and talk about everything from Ed Sheeran to sheep farming to the upcoming presidential election. It was so meaningful to be able to connect with such amazing folks and they couldn't have been more welcoming into their home. To top it off, Laura made us cinnamon rolls and cappuccinos for breakfast.

The location was great: we could see the ocean from one of our sky windows and the other overlooking a beautiful hill that had two white horses. I will post pictures once we settle in our next place. Catriona was also a very good host. My partner came down with food poisoning, and she was very kind and accommodating

Buttermilk Lodge Guest Accommodation, hotel in Clifden

Buttermilk Lodge is 5 minutes' walk from Clifden town center, so you can just park your car and easily walk to town.

We had an apartment with a separate sitting room for lounging and great kitchen. There was a great array of kitchen utensils, pans, electric pots. We loved the fact that there was a clothes washer/dryer combo. Refrigerator and stovetop, microwaves were very nice There was an electric fireplace that gave us some ambience and heated the room to take the chill off.
