Riko is a nice host. He will make sure everything is going well for you. He can give you recommendations. I love the trees and the ponds in this homestay, it's very relaxing. and the nice view on the volcano Lokon. There are a lot of activities in this area, volcanos, lakes, and waterfalls. I really loved it. You should rent a scooter. If not you can use Grab.

The garden where the cottages are is beautiful, the terrace is overlooking the garden, which gives a relaxing atmosphere to the place.
The staff is helpful, smiling, talkative and always has good recommendations. Onong arranged a full day tour and a morning tour to see the sunrise from Mt Lokon. We recommend it without reservation.
The à la carte breakfast was good and filling.
Loved it!
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
The homestay is located in a lovely garden with some fishing ponds and flowers centrally but quietly located in Tomohon. The host was great and provided me with a pickup late at night from Manado, showed me around the area and also dropped me off at the airport. Communication was easy via WhatsApp. Would totally stay here again and longer than the one night I had this time. Tomohon is a great and totally worth a visit for a few days if not more and this is an affordable place to explore it.
By far the best homestay I stayed in in Sulawesi. Rooms are big and spacious and the host can arrange anything and guide you for a small price. The breakfast is very local and good too. I highly recommend.
Beautiful eco resort with decent bungalows that is managed by a lovely Dutch-Indonesian couple. Arno, the owner, is a great host and tour guide. We did a shorter day tour and saw a lot of interesting things as he's super knowledgeable and knows the area pretty well. Just watch out for pigeons crossing the street... :-) Nice breakfast and kitchen too.
We stayed four nights in one of the two beautiful bungalows in the lovely garden of Jan‘s family home. Great hosts, clean and comfortable bungalows (western standard, most comfortable bed we have had in months!), delicious breakfast, Lokon volcano view, and fury friends (only outside the buildings) make this a perfect place to stay in Tomohon. Jan is happy to help you plan your trips / excursions and also drive you to sites, or you can rent a scooter from him.
The owner of the homestay is a gardener at heart, which becomes immediately clear once you pass through the tunnel from the main road and find a huge, terraced garden with a river and bridge and lots of colorful flowers, trees and bushes. The bungalows in this garden are comfortably furnished with lots of wood, carvings and wickerwork and all have an inviting veranda. The restaurant is not yet fully green, but serves outstanding food, healthy, unusual and plentiful, even for vegetarians.
Wonderful staff. Kind, helpful and happy!
Beautiful surrounds. Lovely to see a different part of Northerm Sulawesi and contrast to other areas. Natural beauty extraordinary.
Angie and Arno great hosts.
Fantastic and unique tour with Arno of surrounding area. Memorable.
Major is a great host! He took us to the market for breakfast (very yummy and super cheap), gave us many restaurant, Cafe and sightseeing tips and was always super helpful!
The room itself was simple and clean. All in all the room was fine for two nights, comfy bed, no noises, no bad smell in the room nor the hotel.
Nice to know: the market is right next to the hotel, the extrem part is a little hidden though, so don't worry if you don't want to see it, you can just not go there.
Small but cozy homestay. Spacious rooms with comfortable mattress on the floor. It has a common space that is also spacious and cozy. Local business and lovely family. They also offer car, motorcycle and bike rental and transport. Good value for money.
