I loved my stay at Girang Rinjani Bungalows, I will definitely be back and bring my family and friends. The secludedness of the homestay and minimal number of guests is so peaceful with mountains in the background. The food made by Jao was delicious and Ank made us a fire, they were both very welcoming the whole time. I mentioned I love avacados in the car ride over and every morning they added them for breakfast and sent some with me then I left, very thoughtful! I also asked to be picked up at the Lombok airport and they brought me a breakfast treat for the ride. Adi took me/ guests on different tours and we climbed Pergasingan Hill with him too. There is a waterfall, natural pools and the village to have/ buy coffee and treats within walking distance. The bungalow was perfect for me alone but would be nice for a couple or 2 friends as well. The larger bungalow would be very nice for groups and families! So relaxing to sit on your deck and gaze to the mountains and I loved the bamboo shower! It was so nice to meet the family and have the village experience. Thank you again Ank and Family!

Amazing host, property and location - Hir welcomed us like family, and was a great tour guide! We got to stay in his newly built cottage which was LUXURY. Squeaky clean, best beds, pillows, bathroom, everything, and MORE! His wife made a hearty and fresh chicken curry but my personal favourite was their banana pancakes. His dog Bebe was the sweetest and guided us in our hikes and little daughter Pani was adorable. Do not hesitate if you want to immerse yourself in local culture and still have comfort at the same time. Highly recommend / the best experience in Lombok so far!

You have free access to the kitchen and prepare your own indonesian meals with the guidance of the ladies of the house. I did a day tour with Hari through the rice fields and waterfall that was lovely He thought me about all type of trees and medicinal plans. In the evening we did all together cocunut oil.

Ha szeretnéd megismerni a sasak kultúrát és az embereket igazán közelről ez a szállás tökéletes hely! Egy hetet töltöttünk itt, és csodálatos élményekben volt részünk Munak köszönhetően. Az ételek a legfinomabbak voltak, amit Lombokon ettünk, köszönjük Aisa! :) Mu segített megtervezni az egész hetes programunkat: barangoltunk rizsföldeken, majomerdőben jártunk ( ahol fekete malmokat láttunk a kicsinyeikkel🐒), fürödtünk vízesésnél, megmásztunk egy 1700 m magas hegyet a Ranjani hegy lábánál, ellátogattunk egy tradicionális faluba, ahol tanultu nk a kultúráról és közelről megismerkedtünk a helyiek fantasztikus kézműves tudásával. És még folytathatnám a sort…Határozottan ajánlott hely ha igazi kalandokra és emberi kapcsolódásokra vágysz az utazásod során!

What an honour to be hosted by this family. We loved our hand built bungalow which had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our hosts provided two local tours for us that were the highlight of our stay - one of a local Peresean stick fighting competition (how cool!) and a day trip through the rice paddies, the monkey forest and through the back streets where local life was happening. Such a kind, gentle and generous family.

Absolutely stunning view over the rice fields and mount Rinjani. The rooms and the outdoor bathrooms were beautiful and the breakfast was indeed exceptional. Never had dinner there, but heard the food is supposed to be great. All of the staff were very helpful and polite, and we loved our rice field tour with Yan and the cute dogs. Would definitely go back!
