We had a very nice stay at Macaca Resort. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The staff is very friendly and the food is very good.

Perfect Homestay with friendly people and good food. We did also two Tours with the owner and he took a Lot of time to Guide us around the forest. We feel quite Happy about that, because we left the typical Tourist Route in the Jungle and did Not Stick with the Other groups to all gather around the Monkeys at the Same time... We ended Up being all by ourselves in the middle of the Jungle (quite far from the main paths) and we were lucky to observe three kuskus for quite some while. We also saw a hornbill from close and the Monkeys.
We can absolutely recommend doing a Tour with the owner of this Homestay. Thanks a Lot!

Big and comfortable room with AC, functional bathroom. Water, tea and coffee available all the time. The food was amazing, catered for vegetarians and huge portions, and the women who looked after us caring and excellent. Thank you! A great location right next to the Tangkoko reserve entrance with Ifon our host and guide brilliant at spotting wildlife in the trees! Beautiful beaches and nice locals in the village.
Basic facilities but if you are used to staying in Indonesia and or the jungle, you’ll be fine.
Good homestay very clean, run by a friendly family. Beside the main gate to the park. We went with Mr. Franky to do the evening walk (150/pax) and the morning walk (250/pax) to the forest. He is a very honest man and a very good guide. He knows every corner of the forest and show us. Follow his steps and you'll see a lot of animals!!.
It was such a nice stay in this homestay. The host Franky welcomes you like a friend and part of the family. We even visited a local wedding and I played some violin for them :D
Also the Jungle Tours are quite interesting, and he can show you so many animals.
The rooms are close to the jungle and are well equipped.
Just go there, you won't regret it.

The set-up of room, food (delicious and generous compared to many homestays that we visited later, but lacking in variety compared to what we had experienced until then) and access to guides for the park and the distance from the park is all very good and all you need to enjoy your stay. The village and beach is a short walk too and there is a friendly convenience store. What's more we were allowed a very late checkout.
