The best thing was the location. It was right at the start of the horse track leading down to the crater walk. The room was basic, the bedding was fresh and clean, and it had a hot shower. Great value for money. The owner at the Warung gave us the key and we walked to the room around the back. Owner uses WhatsApp and arranged a collection from Probolinggo train station. Ideal

Beautiful home, koy pond in the entrance way, high ceilings, immaculate, fast internet, welcoming host (Bagus) with lots of information. We couldn't have asked for more. We've stayed in lots of homestays in Indonesia. This homestay is the best one. Nice neighborhood, with several nice warungs nearby.
I did the Bromo-Ijen tour with them and it was fantastic. The staff in the hostel was nice and helpful and they offered all the help I needed for planning my coming days. The tour, the homestay, guides and treatment were 100% recommendable.
A lovely stay and tour provided to Mt. Bromo and Ijen, organised and delivered by the diligent, very kind Kandrianto - JavaDition Transport and Tour (+62 823 3617 0080). The tour included two sunrise tours of both mountains, with transport fully covered between both. The accommodation is a great place to stay (homestay style) with spacious AC double, a kitchen, coffee bedrooms and a koi fish pond. There is just one bathroom, but the kindness of the staff and the efficient delivery of the tour more than make up for this.
The homestay was very clean with good amenities and strong WiFi. The staff were exceptional and very welcoming and friendly.
I would definately come and stay here again!
I couldn’t recommend Clover Homestay enough! Really nice rooms, amazing staff, they organised my Bromo tour, & even collected me from the train station. Would recommend to everyone!
Every once in a while while traveling you find a hidden gem. This homestay was it for me. The room is very basic. You get a shower, toilet, small sink, and a bed. There is no a/c. But you don't need anything else. It is clean and comfortable. And the property is beautiful, overlooking farms and mountain side, and very well maintained. But the real treasure is the couple who run Kopikuin. They are both very sweet and so helpful. And the wife's cooking is literally the best we had while in Java.
