Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
A lovely host family and a nice quiet location about a kilometre from the start of town. Easy access to the main Tland surf break a 5min. walk or a minute on the bike. The room was a generous size with a simple functional ensuite. All in all a very pleasant stay.
The host family is very lovely. The manager Jhio is very helpful and responsive to your online inquiry and request. Great access to the center of Nemberala.

Very kind family hosting the place. Olens is always a text away to solving any problem, also organized a scooter for me, a massage etc. The food was excellent, more varied compared to other homestays I stayed in Indonesia. Very close to the beach and the boats that go to T-land. It‘s basic but good for surf :)
The Cocokabanas Homestay is an amazing hotel. Very close to shops and other key places, like T-Land. The showers, toilets and kitchen were always spotless / clean. The bungalows are very comfortable, with storage and chill out spaces. Finally, Coco the host is a great character, and very helpful.
the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. this is the best value for money around Nembrala. food is great and apparently well known around the tourist and even locals here. super!!
