Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Perfect, quite place near Maumere, with great host Sevine. We spend few nights just snorkeling in calm water and relaxing. Sevine organized us a trip to Kelimutu, and Moni and local villages on the way back from volcano. Ask some dishes which are super-local but in the menu, like papaya/banana flowers salad. Great time!
The people are really nice on the homestay, the breakfast is incredible with an amazing pure fruit juice and very filling fried rice. It's quiet to be in the city center.
It was one of the best ever holiday experiences!

This is a lovely place by the ocean. Lovely breakfast included. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Susi and Hermann are wonderful hosts who help organize everything from drivers to snorkeling trips. Susi has great tips and suggestions to enjoy Maumere. She also has an interesting garden and helps local disabled people. Pantai Paris is an eco friendly homestay helping to reduce our impact on the world. A restful place.

- The bed was comfy and the outdoor bathroom nice.

Nice Homestay in Maumere!
As the airline cancelled my flight 2 days in a row I had to extend my stay here.
Susi makes a delicious hibiskus jam, there is free breakfast and if you want, Herman is always glad to play chess with you :)
The homestay was super comfy. The room is small but have enough facility. The bathroom is huge. The center area of the homestay is filled with plants. The homestay is next to a beach where you can see sunrise. The breakfast is so good! They made their own jam. Taste very good.
