We liked the place a lot, the owner and the staff are very kind and friendly, always happy to have a little chat. The room was good, the aircon worked well and the bathroom is really spacious :-). We didn`t miss anything, the accomodation is functional and simple, but that`s what we expected, so we enjoyed our stay a lot. The included breakfast was good, the fresh juices are really tasty and we got a free welcome drink :).
And yes, there was only salt water to shower, but this is what you get on a small island, for showering it was ok and for brushing the teeth or washing our hair, we just used bottled water.

Perfect and quiet location, just in front of the beach with genuine atmosphere. Also very good restaurant, not expensive compared to others on the island and you can have dinner at one step from the sea with you feets in the sand.
We've also been given a guitar to play in the evening on the beach and it was magical. Also the property is right in front of turtle heaven beach and we saw a sea turtle literally every time we took a bath.

Densi and family were lovely hosts, very friendly and welcoming and helped us with anything we needed. The room was great and breakfast was delicious. Location is good, in a nice quiet area but only 10 minute walk to the beach.
We really enjoyed our stay here! The room was very cosy and clean. The A/C worked very well too. The location is really lovely, you’re in amongst the locals who are ever so friendly.
A wonderful place to stay, I recommend this homestay without hesitation. It was decorated in very good taste (my opinion)and I just loved it! I hope the fresh water situation improves for you all on the island. The owners imported fresh water for us to shower as there was no mains fresh water supply for the whole island. Hopefully the gouvernment will rectify this situation soon. Don't hesitate to stay here. It's really beautiful and the people are so kind. Plus you get to swim with turtles!

Villa Bunga is maybe the cutest villa I’ve ever stayed in. The pool is clean, there are all needed facilities and the whole space feels very cozy.
But what really set it apart for us was service, especially from their keeper Google. My boyfriend got sick in the middle of the night, and Google helped me walk to the pharmacy at 6am, made us tea, and overall did everything to help.
I would stay here again no questions asked, because besides staying in a beautiful place, you are supporting nice locals such as Google!
Everything!! Private pool, private space amongst the locals away from the commercial side. Great aircon and wifi. Own porch with space for lounging and reading. Thoughtful touches with games and books. Very tasty breakfast. Lovely interactions with Jack when he gave the welcome basket. Close to everything!!
perfect perfect perfect. close to the harbour, most people stay further away so it was super quiet. I could easily travel to the west for sunset, and sunrise breakfasts were perfect. Sam looked after me and i enjoyed the outdoor shower, hammock on the balcony and chatting with all the locals. super cheap compared to other places as longas you don't mind to walk 10 minutes to anywhere else on thre island

We had a lovely breakfast included which was fresh fruit and a delicious pancake or omlette which set us up for the day.
The owners were so welcoming & friendly and shared lots of top tips about the Gili islands.
You can rent bikes and snorkels here too.
