Location and facilities were perfect! The big and well maintained garden, the swimming pool, jacuzzi, outdoor kitchen, gazebo. What a place to rest and relax! Had an excellent resting day during our trip through Hungary! Room was very cosy!
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Having walked around Aggtelek on arrival day, I soon realised that the place is actually a little village on the border with Slovakia. There's no bar for an evening drink and I couldn't spot a super market although there has to be mini market somewhere so that the locals can get their necessities.
Having said all that, the room was clean and warm. Breakfast is filling with eggs, toast and jam.
