Communication with the host was easy. Kate met us at the door and showed us the room. The door to the balcony was not working - she got that fixed immediately. She shared information on how to get to old town, recommended places to eat, etc. She was always super nice and hospitable when we met her outside the apartment. People in Croatia are wonderful!
