Unique experience - this guesthouse is operated by a friendly local family in their traditional Zagori-style house. It is entered by a lovely courtyard with a flower garden, in full bloom when we visited. Seems like entering paradise.
Our comfortable room had a balcony with stunning view of the village and surrounding mountains.

The guesthouse cannot be reached by car but it is just a short walk from parking places

Katigika Zagori is a small and charming hotel located at the upper end of the village of Vitsa in central Zagoria, Greece. The view from the place is breathtaking. The house itself is an ancient and enchanting stone building. The rooms have been adapted to contemporary lifestyle and are very clean and inviting. The hosts and owners, Tasos and Sofia, are delightful, and willing to give great ideas for trips in the area, or just sit and chat a bit about life. The breakfast prepared by Sofia is delicious and consists of local ingredients, including jams and olives made by the couple, as well as fruits picked from the garden trees. We had a wonderful experience at the place and would love to return there in the future.
