This is a wonderful place to stay if you wish to experience Crete as was before being overrun by modern tourism and development. The man of the house is mainly absent, taking care of their sheep. His wife runs the accomodations. Location is excellent for a visit to Zeus's cave. Rooms are small but have what you need. Dinner and breakfast was prepared for us as we asked, and were tasty.

Lovely host Nikis. Big spacious, old fashioned, budget, comfortable apartments with balcony. Simple kitchen facilities worked. Close to beach but not noisy.
Great location, great host - really helpful with area, room, taxis etc etc. Pool and sun loungers were great and the whole accommodation was very quiet, so never had to worry about no space! Room is self contained and has its own kitchen with everything needed too.

Great location, clean, quiet and lovely host. Nice touch leaving fruit and water for us. Organised a taxi from the airport which was really helpful (at our cost).
We are a couple with our adult daughter. Thing we loved. Quietness. Away from the crouds. Close location to restaurants, beach & small food stores. Lovely host. Basic but suited us in every way. We would return, and also recommend.
