I liked the set up of the bedroom and the bedding was clean and lovely. And the bathroom was clean as well.
I also loved the fact I can make my tea in my room not go all the way downstairs just for a cup of tea when tired after a long journey.

I was upgraded to a spacious family room with a nice table and chairs. Breakfast was a generous self serve continental.
The room was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The environment is very relaxing with a lovely garden and large lawn area. Parking was excellent
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
So we booked a family room and ended up with a twin room but as there were only 2 of us we didn’t complain.
The price we paid was well over hyped as all hotels were as local rock star Richard Ashcroft was in town playing a gig.
The room had no windows but I have to say the hospitality made up for this and we really loved our stay especially getting back late after the gig and being able to have a few drinks at the bar with the locals that was something special.
Staff were so friendly so thank you for an amazing weekend 😀
Lovely apartment, comfortable , nice touches, very clean, everything you need , close to the town centre , great host. I would book again when I come home.
We had a room only basis, the room was very spacious and a lovely decor ( Victorian style ) Tea & Coffee supplied. Lovely Towels & Face cloths and some toiletries were provided . I enjoyed the roll top bath for a soak after a days traveling . The bed was very comfortable and nice fresh linen and plenty of extra pillows and linen should it be needed. It was nice to have a drink in the bar downstairs with the locals and it was quieter as it was a Weekday stay.
the staff and locals were very friendly and welcoming honestly cannot fault them nothing was too much while they were around. The beds were very comfy and clean and the suite was a large size for the group. Exactly what we paid for and expected apart from one major issue that prevented us from getting hardly any sleep.
