The complex safe with a barrier our room was spacious and bright quiet and comfortable and there’s a separate toilet and shower on each floor and immaculately clean! Thanks to the maintenance and host of David who is friendly and on hand if you need anything and easy access and walk into the city around 15 mins walk and a McDonald nearby too felt safe on the complex with my daughter though it’s very cost sat in the living areas big screen Netflix etc and cooked meals though you need to be open to meet other guests if your in the communal areas so lovely we made friends and would again! ✌🏻

The house was lovely and big and we are told we would have the whole top floor. There were 3 of us adults and a 10 year old child on the booking, which stated we would have an extra large double bed and a sofa bed. Unfortunately we got the double bed but with a camp bed then a thin plastic mattress for the floor, which no body could sleep on… there was another room on the top floor with another double bed but we were not given permission to use it. No cups or spoons to go with the kettle either so not ideal for a family room. Left exhausted and glad to get home.

The owner was extremely friendly, helpful and really lovely. Our stay included a full English breakfast, which was excellent. Plenty to eat and in a very pleasant dining room with great views. We had booked two rooms but when we arrived we were told we could have three rooms, which was amazing, at no extra cost! Very much appreciated

Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Hi, room was very small and basic, breakfast was excelent, well presented well cooked and plenty of it. The lounge bar was very good the manager and staff were very helpfull and very sociable and my pint of John Smiths bitter was excelent and a good price, there was entertainment on both Friday and Sturday nights in the form of a quiz, card game and Karioke, the locals were friendly and easy to make conversation with so we didnt get bored. We would deffiniteley use again.
Extremely clean and contemporary designed. Loved the TV popping out from the end of the bed and the speakers, lights and USB ports built into the headboard and drawers. Bathroom was super clean. Hastings was a great host. Shame I was only there for about 1 night.
