The host, Deborah, is super lovely and provides a clean room and ensuite with the basics you need on a short trip. I was in London for work and was provided everything I really needed. The host was amazing and attentive. The cottage was immaculate when I arrived. The location was great for access to the High Street (with all the shops and cafes) and bus and train routes to access other places.
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
