This is great accommodation. Cleanliness is outstanding..a really nice house and pleasant host, although we didn't see much of him. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need to self cater. Cutlery, pots , pans , plates fridges, freezers, herbs and spices.. Will be visiting again in summer.. Bed very comfy, shower very warm.

We had a lovely stay in Archie's cottage. Chris was a great host, checking all was well and asking if we needed anything.
The cottage was immaculate and very cosy.
We enjoyed having a drink on the patio in the evening and enjoyed all the sights in Lincoln, especially the cathedral which looks over the city!
The house was spotless. It had everything you needed for a home from home stay. Comfortable beds with plenty of extra blankets and pillows, etc. A lovely welcome basket was a nice surprise with a few essentials. Ample equipment in the kitchen and a dishwasher, which is fabulous. Location is great, not even a mile from the city centre, so a taxi was very cheap. The welcome book had so much information, e.g, taxi numbers .
All in all, we had an amazing stay and will definitely book again !
Iain and Anna are great hosts. The rooms are lovely and the bed was so comfortable. They were so accommodating providing a breakfast to go when I needed to be at work early. Will definitely be back.
Staff members were very warm; professional and efficient, yet unhurried. The overall ambience was understated and relaxed. Many locals frequent the restaurant at the weekend; always a strong endorsement. Having booked online, the hotel rang me directly shortly afterwards to ask if I would care to make any dinner reservations to avoid disappointment, and to confirm they were able to fulfill a special request. Oh... did love the line in bathroom toiletries, such that I will be ordering some for home!
