Excellent location to walk into Kendal, with many bars and restaurants. The Guest House is tucked away on a quiet street. The bed was huge and very comfy. Garden Cottage is beautifully presented in an elevated position. Chris and Jill are lovely hosts and provided a range of welcome provisions for our arrival and offered helpful guidance on nearby walks and beauty spots. The kitchen was very well equipped with unexpected additions including a coffee maker and air fryer. The bedrooms were bright and airy with comfortable beds assuring a restful sleep. The double aspect lounge allowed opportunity for relaxation in the evenings after days of touring and sight seeing.

Yvonne was a lovely host, great communication from the start. The room was clean and comfortable. Bonus of freshly baked biscuits on arrival and kettle with tea/coffee/hot chocolate in the room. Definitely a quirky little place, with lovely little touches. I'd recommend to anyone looking for guesthouse accommodation in the area. Good value for money and spotless!

Excellent service and very helpful friendly staff. Very busy place which shows how popular it is with visitors and locals. Good selection of reasonably priced drinks. Had three meals during our stay all really good. Only breakfast sandwiches served though which I thought was unusual 🤔
