If it was warmer outside, we would have used the hot tub.

Very close to Anfield Stadium makes it very attractive for match events - brand new venue and the room was very nice - was suitable for a Family of 5 people which is in our experience not often to find - the staff was immediately available for queries and very helpful - we were offered additional extras which were unexpected and very welcome - we also got a courtesy Liverpool scarf as a present which we were extremely happy about - I am convinced non-Liverpool fans are also very welcome

Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
We were looking for somewhere to stay near a beach that was dog friendly. Formby B&B is a small establishment and James the owner was happy for us to bring our dog. The room was spotless and James was a great host, nothing was a bother to him. The beach is at the end of the road and it was beautiful too.
Everything was lovely, James was a great host, very attentive and welcoming. Rooms were clean and had everything you need for a short stay.
