The Plume of Feathers is as you see it, a quintessential and historical English pub in a lovely picturesque village. Off the beaten track, but close to major routes. Atmosphere friendly, well used by locals. Warm and genuine welcome by hosts, Emma, Gaz and team. Nothing too much trouble.

We loved everything about this hotel. The room we stayed in (Number 40) over looked the small green and the garden suites. The room, bed and bathroom were extremely spacious the walk in shower was a dream. We had lunch on the terrace over looking the pond, which was beautiful especially as the sun was shinning. The reception staff were very engaging and helpful. The buffet breakfast was extremely good and was kept replenished at all times. There was plenty off parking, which was safe and secure.

Great hosts with a warm welcome and friendly throughout. Very easy access to walks straight from site (perfect for dog walks) and only 5 mins walk to local pub with decent food and ales brewed on site. If you fancy a dose of tranquillity with a wood fired hot tub thrown in, this is your place. The cabin is compact but comfy and just as described. I would very happily stay again and hopefully will.
