This place is brilliant..its quiet and the Lodge itself has everything you need. The hot tub is relaxing and there is plenty to do in the area.
Frankie and Jonathon are great hosts and leave you things to have breakfast with. There is some decking you can sit out on and the lights make it all look nice in the evening.I would defo recommend staying here. There is also a bbq you can use .
The lake setting of hotel was lovely. The bar manager Dhruv was exceptionally welcoming and friendly and was a great host throughout our visit. He made great cocktails too.
Lovely old, traditional English pub in quintessential English village setting. Staff were welcoming as were the 'locals'. Excellent 'to order' breakfast.
The Plume of Feathers is as you see it, a quintessential and historical English pub in a lovely picturesque village.
Off the beaten track, but close to major routes.
Atmosphere friendly, well used by locals.
Warm and genuine welcome by hosts, Emma, Gaz and team. Nothing too much trouble.
very peaceful lovely location . duke of Cambridge pub 5 min walk away does great meal and friendly staff. great host so many little details to make your stay better was catered for and of course great hot tub .
We loved everything about this hotel. The room we stayed in (Number 40) over looked the small green and the garden suites. The room, bed and bathroom were extremely spacious the walk in shower was a dream.
We had lunch on the terrace over looking the pond, which was beautiful especially as the sun was shinning.
The reception staff were very engaging and helpful.
The buffet breakfast was extremely good and was kept replenished at all times.
There was plenty off parking, which was safe and secure.
Great hosts with a warm welcome and friendly throughout. Very easy access to walks straight from site (perfect for dog walks) and only 5 mins walk to local pub with decent food and ales brewed on site.
If you fancy a dose of tranquillity with a wood fired hot tub thrown in, this is your place. The cabin is compact but comfy and just as described. I would very happily stay again and hopefully will.
