Jen and Paul were such kind hosts. The home itself is so comfortable,tidy,located in a beautiful place with a nice park to walk around. The two little pup's were so friendly and there's not a bad thing anyone who's stayed here could say.

Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Mike and Carolyn were lovely hosts, the bedroom had everything you needed and even a proper coffee machine. The room was cleaned while I wasn't in and breakfast was restocked too. Overall a pleasent stay for the week.
The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. The staff were super attentive and beyond nice. The spot wasn't a usual foreign tourist spot, which gave it a unique charm. We felt like we were one of the locals and got a great sense of the community.
Great host, easy check in, everything needed was supplied even toothbrush, toothpaste and dressing gown. Won't hesitate to rebook when back in the area.

The room was very imaginatively decorated and had everything you need if your not expecting the ritz.
The staff were lovely.

The pies were fantastic. We had beef and Stilton and minted lamb. Tried each others and couldn't decide which was the best.
The locals in the pub were really friendly.
The lads having a singalong in the outside smoking area where great although no Roy orbison among them.
