Location was excellent - a 5 minute walk to town, with parking just across the street at a very reasonable £3.30 a day, or £8.50 for 5 days.
The room was large and spacious, with a table to eat at, as well as it the usual facilities.
The kitchenette was a nice touch, a cupboard with fridge and microwave, cereal and milk.
The host was very friendly, and let me in quite late when I had laot my partner who had the key.

Fantastic Stay. Would definitely recommend. Breakfast was great. Property set back off road, so very quiet. Could not have wished for better hosts.

A very nice clean and comfortable room in an equally clean and pleasant Lodge. Our hosts were lovely and every need was met - with excellent, good value evening meals freshly cooked to order in the restaurant; likewise the breakfasts. Highly recommended.

It was a new large detached house with a nice rear garden and view over the fields. We had a large bedroom, with walk-in wardrobe that went to the bathroom, all very clean and comfortable.
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Everything was lovely, lovely hosts, beautiful place and loved the animals even left with a dozen fresh eggs. Nice hot tub in the evening. Already booked for next year
Lovely little place, clean, great facilities with a great host who made us feel very welcome and couldn't do enough for us. The hot tub was lovely to relax in after a busy day. Surroundings within the hosts garden was perfect, lovely seeing the animals.
It was a mixture of glamping and camping with the outside shower!!! Which was surprisingly refreshing..
We had a lovely stay at the stable annex. The whole experience was perfect and Teresa was a great host. The annex itself had everything we needed and lots of nice touches including books to read, games etc.
Nothing was too much for Teresa and she made us a homemade breakfast every morning which was delicious and very well priced.
We loved the hot tub and feeding the horses too, the annex is in a great location with nice pubs and restaurants within a 5 minute drive.
We will definitely come back, thank you!
Quirky stay with everything me and my partner could wish for , raf base stones throw away , mini ponies and hot tub x and lovely host great value for money
