We loved the whole visit to the pheasant inn, we booked on route to the area. Looking through properties, the pheasant stood out to myself , for the ratings, description and photos. We arrived from Suffolk to a warm welcome, very efficient check in , a beautiful room and within 30 minutes were in the beautiful pheasants restaurant eating a very delicious meal. We booked a king room which was exactly like the photo showed and the bed was very comfortable , bathrobes, tea, coffee etc all very nice and breakfast the next morning lovely. My only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer but we are all ready planning a stay there with other family members in the near future.

Loved this place. It was very clean and well styled. We stayed in the top floor room with the en-suite. It was very clean and cosy. It had a living area and small kitchen area which you could make breakfast etc. we needed somewhere to stay for the night and this was the ideal place. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

Stylish property. Lots of nice touches, Alexa playing in the room when I arrived. Help with my bag to the room. Nice and spacious. Bowl of chocolates and water next to the bed. Couldn’t ask for better. Sam is a wonderful host.

Staff and locals made me feel very welcome and at home. Spacious rooms, nice and clean, good nights sleep. Bonus fridge in the room. The pub is also great, the bar staff are lovely, perfect cider on tap after a long drive. Welcomed my dog and made a fuss of him. I would highly recommend this place if you have a dog, really hard to come by a lovely pub, somewhere to stay that also love dogs and don't charge you more for having one.
The check in was very efficient and I was shown to my room, the room was a good size with comfortable beds and all the standard facilities. The pub was great, unfortunately I arrived late and missed the kitchen (food others were just finishing looked great) but the locals were all very friendly and the beers were good, I don't normally sit in a bar on my own when travelling because I feel out of place, not here, more than happy to sit in the bar and chat. Will stay again if in the area.
I stayed here for one night, travelling for work. The hosts were great, the food was excellent and the bar staff were friendly, as were the locals, who made me feel very welcome.
I would go out of my way to stay here again for work and look forward to returning.
