Really nice room in the attic. It's very large there. Was pleasantly surprised. Host Lesly was wonderful. Made me breakfast too. Breakfast was delicious. I felt a little bad she had to wake up so early but... room has own private bathroom. You can see both the front of the house and the garden from there. Street is very quiet and safe. Very quiet house. Theres a little nature reserve thing like 20 mins away. Amazing there.

We were welcomed at the door, and shown to our room, although we arrived a little while prior to the listed check-in time. The room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. We were able to safely park on a service road (not a a main through street) directly in front of the house, and could see our car from the window of the room. With the windows closed, it was quite quiet in the room. The windows were of good quality and were effectively sound blocking. We slept well. The ensuite bathroom was small, but beautifully finished, and the shower was hot with more than adequate pressure. Toiletries were provided. We had a food item that needed to be refrigerated. While there was no refrigerator in the room, the host kindly stored this in the main refrigerator until we were ready to leave. This is a little sanctuary that we wish we had found years ago, and will be using from now on when we are in the area. It is well located between two public transportation stations, and in a an area with a high density of shops and restaurants. Highly recommended.

The breakfast was adequate with toast, cereal, tea, coffee, juice. Only criticism, fresh milk could have been made available.
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Really nice house overall. The place was just as nice as the photos, exactly what we were looking for. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were really comfortable and everything was just what you need when staying away for work.
Jason was a great host, responding to any queries helpfully and fast.
