Had a lovely stay, not a long walk from the harbour and bus service goes past the front door. Ferry was cancelled (as it so frequently has been) and I was offered to stay another night in a different room until the ferries were back up, which was very kind.
Had GF toast for breakfast, and altered some bits and bobs so I could eat them as a coeliac.
Room was very cosy

Burlington Guest House is located in Whiting Bay. Free WiFi access is available. Featuring a shower, private bathroom also comes with a hairdryer. Extras include bed linen.
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Good breakfast, quiet location, good choice of food as catered for vegan and vegetarian, enjoyed having dinner outside in the sunny outdoor area, good atmosphere with locals visiting the bar and quiz nights etc.
The hotel with its bar and restaurant are located in an awesome garden and I would definitely recommend sitting in the old greenhouse for dinner. The bar is equally pretty and offers a large range of drinks at reasonable prices. The Sunday night I spend there, they also head live traditional music played by locals and also some visitors. After closing, the whole place was very quiet and I had a great night. Breakfast is a real highlight here, with freshly prepared traditional Scottish options and great coffee.
