Literally in the village, room only accommodation, with access to a fully fitted kitchen, with fresh milk available. Tea and coffee in the room with a small fridge too and a hair dryer. We had room 7, a large double with en suite. A bench seat in the window but no chair. It was lovely and warm too. Perfect as a base to explore the lakes or just to chill out.

Exceptional self check in service. A welcome message was sent which outlined all the best places to eat, walk and visit. The mood of the room when we walked in was really relaxing. The additional prosecco, chocolates and balloons was a perfect touch for my partners birthday.
We've stayed in a few of the high end hotels in bowness and none of them had the personal touch or feel that this place did.

Everything was perfect, couldn’t fault anything. Comfy bed, clean room and well equipped. Nice touch with the homemade cookies everyday, they were gorgeous. Breakfast was probably the best we have had and great hosts.
Great central location and clean comfortable room. Lovely hosts , v friendly and welcoming. Liked the tips Angus gave for places to eat etc . Paid for the breakfast and there was plenty of choice and good quality. Would def recommend
We liked the warm welcome by Karen who was a great host. We liked the cosy comfort and the lounge dining room. The little garden was lovely and the car park very useful. We liked how Karen modified our breakfast choices to suit and her advice on what to do and where to eat.
