Genuinely couldn’t fault anything about our three-night stay at Halford House. Despite the -2 temperatures outside we received the warmest of welcomes from the Halford House team! Attentive, polite & friendly throughout, the staff showed a real interest in our stay. Our room was advertised as a “Small King” but certainly exceeded expectations & was more than roomy enough for two guests. Lovely touches with fresh orange juice available in the fridge, just outside our bedroom, & tea/coffee, confectionery on hand too. Halford House is ideally located to explore the quaint village of Bourton on the Water, & further afield too. Would recommend the property to anyone looking to stay in the Cotswolds. Thank you to all the team for an exceptional stay!

We were greatly very warmly by Eleanor on arrival with a glass of bubbles, she showed us around and told us a little bit about the history of the house, she was excellent, very informative, warm and friendly! We felt relaxed from the start!
The manor house is unique and beautiful, it is perfectly located, we enjoyed walking back through the gardens, which are beautiful lit, after a meal out in the evening.
Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. There are lots of nice touches, my husband particularly enjoyed the shortbread biscuits!
Breakfast was lovely! The lady that served us (sorry I didn't get her name) was very attentive, nothing was too much trouble!
It is a very special and unique hotel, the atmosphere is very relaxed, the staff are exceptional! There are lots of little extra touches that make your stay so much better than other hotels we have stayed at.
Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated The Coach House features accommodation with free bikes and free WiFi.

Well that can I say?! Hosts, Jacky & Huw were incredible - they really did go above & beyond.
It was our anniversary and we were greeted with a bottle of Prosecco! Have to say, they really did go the extra mile - they couldn’t do enough for us.
Our room was spotless, instructions were fab & check-in was seamless!
They even gave us pastries for breakfast which was super thoughtful.

The Little Mews was ideal for our short getaway to the Cotswolds. It was well appointed, had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay and it was very clean. Our host was responsive and helpful with tips for the local area.

Comfortable stay, the place was lovely & clean and had a homely feel. We have stayed here a couple of times for work and will be 100% staying again in the future.

Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.

The house is really nice and comfortable, it worth a 4 star home stay. I like the smell of the house, the owner has a really good taste on decoration, use all the fragrance and amenities. Free drink and milk are offered. The most wonderful part is the super convenient location, it is in the center to everywhere, just 5 mins walk can go to the river, nice restaurant, model village and nice shops.
