Great budget stay up north for work. Plenty of parking available behind the bakery, plus overflow in Bakery bays. Door is located on street opposite the side of the pub. Self check in was easy with texted details. Just hold your hand over the Yale lock panel for a few seconds until the numbers come up, type the code and you’re in. The same works for your room.
Room was super clean and bed big and comfortable. Lots of plugs available near bed to charge devices. Smart TV worked a treat too.
Modern kitchen and toilet / shower. It is shared by the few other rooms but that’s all advertised so expect it. I was in late (11:30pm) and out early (8:30am) so didn’t have any issue sharing kitchen or toilet with anyone.

Bessemer rooms is a very attractive converted industrial office building with lovely staircases and tiled floors. The rooms are enormous! It's a shame some of the space can't be used for en suite bathrooms.
The staff on the phone were very friendly and helpful.
The self check in process to gain access to the building is very modern and straightforward.
