Ruth handled everything for me so well. Right from accommodating my request to stay on the ground floor, to offering free washer & dryer use for our clothes, tea & coffee in the kitchen, and helping me feel like this was a home-away-from-home. There is a fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster & other cooking facilities in a large kitchen, with attached dining & lounge area. The bedroom & entire living areas are kept spotless & appear recently renovated. The bedding was plush & the heating was warm. I was there 1-4 Dec '24 but I would have stayed longer if I'd had the time. The b&b is just a short easy walk from the train station & the road is lined with an assortment of eateries, a cute pub & also a couple of supermarkets just a 1 minute walk away - even with freshly-baked artisan bread. I felt safe behind a high locked gate & the ground floor windows are kept locked too. I highly recommend this place & thank Ruth for the care with which she oversees things. She is a gem!

First of all, Andy was keen to make us satisfied even before our stay. He contacted us to arrange everything and explain all the details of the property clearly. The house was very, very clean and tidy. Everything was available. The location of the house is very good with many nearby shops and stations. Andy responded quickly whenever we needed him. The host Abora is extremely nice. Very caring and helpful. She looked after us very well. She went out of the way to upgrade our room at the cost of a smaller room.

The kitchen & bathroom was only shared by one other person on the level I was staying on.
Kitchen was clean & tidy & had equipment for cooking & eating onsite. The bathroom was modern & the shower was always nice & hot.
At the rear of the property is a public park & lake ideal for walks & chilling .Personally I would rather do Homestay than a budget hotel box room .

This property was really welcoming and clean. The room was perfect size with a comfy warm bed and a tv for entertainment. My host was super accommodating and made sure I found the property safely as I was working late and would check in late. What a really nice space and a great host. Towel was provided as well at no extra cost which is a bonus.
Great location, good space, clean east accessible good access instructions and great host, also things we didn’t think about were available ie foil hand soap, washing up liquid, Wi-Fi etc.
