The lodging is quiet, located by a stream in a little town. The hostess greeted me warmly, and showed me to my nice room. I arranged for dinner for both nights of my stay. The dinner was wonderful! It began with an appetizer and cocktail or the delicious plum sparkling drink. The main course was delicious, and the dessert and coffee was perfect. I was visiting the Verdun memorials during the day, about 20 minutes away, and it was nice to have dinner at 7, and sometimes chat with other guests about the day. The breakfast was croissant, bread, and a fridge full of fruit, cheeses, and juice. This is a nice location, comfy rooms, and excellent food.

A beautiful place, surrounded by nature and beautiful garden, which has many hideaway places. The place is a beautiful retreat from the luxuries of the city life and makes you appreciate everything we have in modern homes. It's not for everyone, but we enjoyed our short stay.
The hostess is very hospitable, she was kind enough to wait for us when we were 3 hours late to check-in after a very long traffic delay. The breakfast was nice, the room and the food make us feel like royalty.

Brightly decorated cheerful interior. Friendly welcoming host. A family home. A bargain overall. When I asked for fresh air in my bedroom the host unlocked and opened the window.
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
This is a home stay Not a hotel but it was very good. The location on Verdun was great the rooms were big enough and facilities good. Do not expect things like a lift so be prepared for a few stairs.
A nice simple breakfast is available or there are plenty of cafes nearby.
Hosts were on hand and very pleasant.
Ricardo was a great host. He welcomed us with mint tea and helped with restaurant suggestions. Breakfast was lovely particularly his mothers redcurrant jam. A really memorable stay.
Breakfasts were excellent and good value. Fabrice and Victor went out of their way to help us rent a car in Verdun, they are great hosts. We stayed here before and hope to stay with them again in the future.
Brilliant place to stay- lovely host, fab breakfast! we had our little dog with us and there is a park nearby and great walks by the river through town.
beautiful House, lovely host and superb breakfast. walking distance to town enter, passing authentic areas of Verdun - we passed a garage with antiques and old stuff. The room was nicely furnished and decorated . Such a cool spot for a short trip like ours . thank you.
Homestay, with nice host. Had to practice my French! Room is cozy and traditional but the private bathroom is across the hallway. its a pleasant 5-10min walk into town and host makes a lovely homemade breakfast spread. Easy free parking in front of house.
