Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Fabulous location, large shared terrace with panoramic sea views. Ample free parking on site. The addition of coffee and cakes in the room each day was a treat. Great host who was full of useful tips on the area.
I was there to run a marathon the staff extended the check out time as I needed to return to the room and shower and pack at no extra cost. U had six hours extension no extra cost. Great host
This is a basic cabin mainly aimed at locals. The cabin is close to the beach, approx 10 min walk, the small pool is perfect for cooling down and Julien is an excellent host trying to make your stay pleasurable.
Kim was a great host from our initial welcome. Our room was large, very comfortable, clean and had a separate area to sit outside and have breakfast and a glass of wine in the evening. Location was ideal, being just a 5 minute drive to the town centre, or 15 minutes walk, though uphill coming back.
We would not hesitate in staying at Lone Star if in the area. Highly recommended.
