Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Amazing building that's been brilliantly refurbished, loads of character. Herve is a great host and the breakfast was amazing. Location is very close to the central square in St Omer which has some good restaurants and a fantastic food market on Saturday.
The staff were welcoming, charming and very personable. The hotel has gone through a major refurbishment and is attractively fitted out…as you might expect from a Mercure hotel. The restaurant was busy, the staff were exceptional and the food was good as evidenced by many locals opting to dine there.
Greeted on arrival with a cup of tea by the lovely host in the salon full of eclectic artworks.
Comfortable bed in beautifully decorated bedroom.
