The staff was exceptional! Camille greeted us, helped us park our car and then carried our suitcases up 3 flights of stairs! Way beyond what anyone would have done! We were in a separate building than the “hotel”, which was the oldest house in St. Emilion. There were 4 suites, kitchen, living room, dining room, library and the downstairs had a sauna, steam bath, a place for massages and a pool table (which made use of!) and cute little garden area. We never saw another guest even though the house was fully booked.

This is the most wonderful place to stay, I only wish we could have stayed longer or come in better weather to really enjoy the property. The rooms are named, not numbered, with a common area between them. Very large, comfortable rooms, nicely decorated. Wonderful breakfast with a selection of homemade jams & breads. Our hostess was absolutely the most gracious we’ve had! We walked out the property in the rain just before we left to get the feel for the place. Right on the Dordogne. We highly recommend! Thank you for your hospitality!

Marion and Thomas were exceptional and they made sure our stay would be relaxing and comfortable and have accommodated to all our needs. They offer a simple breakfast to start your day. Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Beautiful apartment in a superb location. The apartment is brand new and pristine condition. Martin’s went out of her way to accommodate us and our small children. St Emilion is not the easiest place to travel with children but with a little effort it is entirely possible to have a fantastic holiday. Martine was a great host, made several great suggestions for dinner and welcomed us to her vineyard to sample her wine at an open day which occurred whilst we were on holiday.

We fell in love with Troplong Mondot! We've been warmly welcomed as in a private home; our accomodation was very comfortable with a nice view over the garden. Location was perfect as very close from the village of St Emilion.
The gastronomy at their michelin restaurant was such a great experience! We had a lovely table facing the wineyard. And of course, no need to talk about their incredible wine Troplong Mondot!
