Beautiful room in the Bastide with bathtub which yes took a while to fill (massive) but all part of the charm and made for a very relaxing first night. The property is in a beautiful location overlooking the Luberon and we were blessed to have the room with the terrace and view of Mont Ventoux to wake up to each morning. A very peaceful environment to return to each evening after travelling around in the local area. The hosts were very kind and helpful.

Once we ce managed to find it in the centre of this very quiet village, it was ideal. We could see across the entire valley of the Durance and reach Lourmarin in 5 minutes. Our bedroom was very clean and comfortable. Our hosts, Bruno and Francine, gave us the warmest welcome and provided a lovely breakfast each morning.

Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
The villiage comes alive at night with a lot of little restaurants and shops. The hotel supports the locals by selling and using their products in the hotel. The villiage forms a unit of ancient buildings being kept alive by the residents.
The home itself was beautiful (along with the garden and pool), and the house was decorated such that it felt like a home. Jean and Nathalie were lovely hosts (be sure to visit their great antique shop in town) and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
