The food was truly exceptional and the effort made by Christelle and Laurent to make us feel welcome was really good. The food was prepared and presented superbly. A real tour de force. Outside, there is a good pool and sun beds and a table by the barbecue for communal eating.

Geneviève is a great host. She was most helpful and courteous. Her dogs and cats are beautiful. A very relaxed location. The walk into the medieval city was a great pleasure. The king size bed was very comfortable. A substantial breakfast was provided.

Close 10mins to town , 20mins to train station, 1/2 hrs to Carcassonne Castle, excellent location all round.
Not many supermarkets in town, but a Carrefour Express just opposite railway station.

La Maison Sur la Colline, is a rustic Chambre D’Hote, we were expecting a no fuss traditional french style accommodation and this is what we got. Delphine is a lovely host, collecting us from the airport on arrival and taking us back on departure. The breakfast was extremely good. The pool was perfect and we were able to enjoy a very relaxing time by it. The grounds are nicely kept with Olive and Fig trees
Superbly situated for the mediaeval city, ample free parking and a decent continental breakfast. Rooms a little small for two sharing males but absolutely fine for a one night stay. Lionel was a great host, excellent English and full of recommendations. The little bar, frequented by locals was fun too.
