It was everything we wanted a beautifully appointed and comfortable farmhouse manor to be.
Our host, Sylvia was delightful! She spoiled us with a wonderfully prepared breakfast with everything from the Normandy region. Sylvia was also very personable, helpful and a joy to be around .

Perfect base to discover Caen and the whole area, however you definitely need a car to do that! Not because of the position of the house, but because no public transportation for example to the landing beaches. So if you come here to discover history, rent a car. If you come here just to visit Caen or Bayeux, you are fine:-)

Great central location. Nice big room, clean, comfy, had all we needed, great WiFi. Public parking was close and easy to find. Lovely host provided lots of local and regional information.
